As a graduate student, I realized that it might be possible to combine two of my favorite things: science and writing. Thanks to an opportunity from The Daily Texan student newspaper and excellent training at the Santa Fe Science Writing Workshop, I have been able to write about a wide range of scientific topics for general audiences in publications such as Aeon, Nautilus, and Slate and recently completed my first book.
My first book, Future Humans: Inside the Science of Our Continuing Evolution was published by Yale University Press on October 25, 2016
